Obituary for Dorothy Patterson

Dorothy Patterson
“Beam me up Scotty!” Dorothy Treasure Patterson (Vorpagel) passed away on January 9th, 2017. She was 85 years young. Dorothy was young at heart, had a zest for life and her many, many passions. If she wasn’t spending time with her family, you would find her rummaging, dancing, watching “Star Trek” or “Days of Our Lives”. You would also find her playing with her German Sheppards and talking to anyone she passes. She was a social butterfly and everyone loved her sunny disposition. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Donald H. C. Patterson, daughter Laurel Treasure Korinek, parents Ervin and Gladys’s Vorpagel, brother Russell (Nancy) Vorpagel, and many of her faithful K-9 companions. Dorothy is survived by Children; Donna (Paul), Kyle, Kurt, Autumn Kochanski, Marla (Richard), Shannon, Jessie, Ashley Williams, Laurel (Michael), Michael Jr., David Korinek, Roderick (Denise), Jeb, Lance, Shiloh Patterson. Dorothy is also survived by 9 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please donate to either the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Organization or Washington County Humane Society.

Visitation will be at Schramka Funeral Home (W164 N9034 Water St., Menomonee Falls, WI) on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. At 1:00 p.m. will be a short service and time to share memories and stories.
