Robert M. "Bob"  Newman
Of Menomonee Falls. Born to Life on December 15, 1919 to Edward and Isabelle (nee Nettesheim) Newman. Born to Eternal Life on January 30, 2017. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Schmitz) for 73 1/2 years. Dear father of Ruthann (the late Paul) Kastello, Robert "Rock" (Sandy), Karen (Ken) Willborn and Kathleen (Ric) Ericksen. Loving grandfather of Brenda Kastello and Gina (Troy) BeBeau, Monica (Chris) Baumer and Natalie (Scott) Pavey, Daniel and David Willborn, Juli (Shawn) Fitzgerald, Peter (Julie) Ericksen and Jaclyn (Andy) Benning. Fond brother of Kathleen Collins. Fond brother-in-law of Marion Tews and Catherine Benson. Also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by 5 sisters and 6 brothers. Robert was a Sergeant in the US Army Air Force during WW II, where he was a mechanical engineer in the 11th Tow Target Squadron. He worked for Gettleman/Miller Brewery for 37 years.

Visitation Tuesday, February 7, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at St. Anthony Church, N74 W13604 Appleton Ave., Menomonee Falls, with a Funeral Mass at 1:30 PM. Burial to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Steven Merry, nurse Ellen, the staff at Ellen's Home in Germantown, and Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675, would be appreciated.
