Obituary for Norman Harry Singer

Norman Harry Singer
Born November 20, 1931. Went peacefully to join his parents, Edmund and Sophie Singer on December 14, 2017 age 86. Beloved husband of 63 years to Patricia (nee Czarnyszka). Loving dad of Gregory (Cindy), Frederick (Cathy) and Cheryl (Tom) Sperl. He loved his grandchildren, Kelly (Dave) Sparacino, Monica Krueger, Jennifer (Todd) Coffey, Stephen (Kelsey) Sperl, Sarah (Chris) Daskam and Nicole Sperl. He was thrilled and his eyes would light up for his great-grandchildren, Drew, Griffin, Isabel, Mia, Declan, Mila, Hudson, Isla and Skylar. Fond brother of Carol Wojciuk. Uncle of Laura (Dave), Jimmy and the late Sharon.

Norman was the Family's "Number One Fan" in everything we did! Norman knew he was blessed and enjoyed his employment at his father's Singer Hardware Store. He served his country for two years in the Army during the Korean War. Norman was a loyal employee of Frederick Usinger Sausage and was an elf until he retired in March of 1997. He also enjoyed working at County Stadium in his concession stand back in the 1970's. Norman was a people person and made many lifelong friends throughout his life. He was relaxed, happy and proud of his cottage on Lower Post Lake where he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Norman was a founding member of St. Margaret Mary Parish

Special thanks to his "second family" at Cecelia Place in Pewaukee. He was only able to enjoy it for three months, but met some very supportive and caring people! Thanks to the staff at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital and all the doctors for their loving care in his many visits. Thanks to the help from Horizon Hospice for making his last days comfortable.

Visitation Sunday, Dec. 17, from 4:30-7:30 PM at the Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, followed by a Funeral Service at 7:30 PM. Private entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.
