Obituary for Ernest "Ernie" Kurszewski

Ernest "Ernie" Kurszewski
Ernest "Ernie" Kurszewski was reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Loretta, on March 7, 2017 at the age of 89. He was born in northern Wisconsin, the youngest of 11 children which included his twin sister, Ernestine. All siblings have predeceased him.

He and Loretta settled in Menomonee Falls in 1961 where they raised their four children. Beloved parent to Thomas (Li-Kuan) and Linda (Douglas) Hoelz. Cherished grandpa of Tanya, Anna, Alison, Jessie, Amanda, Rob, Jennifer, Melissa and Steve. Special great-grandpa to ten great-grandkids. Preceded in death by wife, Loretta, son, Gary and daughter, Brenda.

Ernie was a longtime employee of Briggs and Stratton retiring in 1996. He loved the Brewers, Packers, and fishing and can’t forget polka dancing, for he used to teach Polish Hop with mom at Etzels in Germantown years ago. Until around five years ago, he was a familiar face at St Anthony’s for he was an usher for many years.

A heartfelt “Thank You” to LindenGrove New Berlin for their compassionate and quality care they provided for dad. Visitation will be held at St Anthony Church, Menomonee Falls on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 9:30 until the Mass at 11 AM. Christian burial will follow.

A man of Faith, Determination and Love, “Dad, you will always be in our hearts!”
