Obituary for Paul A. Lukaszewicz, Ret. Lt. Col. USAF

Lukaszewicz, Paul A., Ret. Lt. Col. USAF
Found peace surrounded by the love and prayers of his family on November 1, 2017 at the age of 81.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Delphine; dear brother James (Janet) Lukaszewicz; loving daughters Lynn Heimbruch, Lori (Matthew) Salfer & Kerri Rymer; devoted “son” Thom Moran; adoring grandchildren Katelyn & Robert Heimbruch; Thomas (fiancé Gaby) & John Salfer. Preceeded in death by his parents, Joseph & Sylvia Lukaszewicz, and his brothers, Fr. Thomas Lukaszewicz, S.J. and Kenneth Rymer.
Paul proudly served our country through the Air National Guard, and retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He retired from Milwaukee County in 1991. A faithful man, Paul took wonderful care of his wife following her stroke in 2008. Paul & Del were active members of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, on the Festival Committee and Holy Name Society. The family is most grateful for the exceptional care Paul received at Hales Corners Care Center.
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to Marquette University High School Scholarship Fund, the Society of Jesus, or Stars & Stripes Honor Flight.
Visitation will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6060 W. Loomis Road in Greendale at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, with funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
Private interment at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery.
