Carol Margaret Mary (Turner) Orlandi of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin passed away on December 2nd, 2019 at the age of 74, after fighting a seven month battle with pancreatic cancer. Carol was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 13th, 1945. The daughter of Carol Studt and Restore Tuner (who attended Lawrenceville School). She was married to Victor Orlandi for 41 years. She is survived by her two daughters Linda Orlandi and Maria (Bryan) Neumann. She has three grandchildren: Tyler Orlandi-Foley, Rebecca Neumann, and Elijah Neumann. Her siblings are Kathy (Bill) Perry, the late Mary Turner, and the late Lawrence Turner.
Carol was a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and earned her graduate degree in computers in education from Lesley University. As a young teacher Carol served in the 84th Division of the Army Reserves in Milwaukee. She taught English, German, and technology in the Milwaukee Public schools for 34 years. She taught at Burroughs Middle School, Custer High School (now known as the Milwaukee Campus for Trades, Technology, and Media), and Vincent High School where she was head of the English department. After retirement she taught CCD at St. Mary’s in Menomonee Falls where she and her husband were members for 40 years.
The memorial will be held at Schramka Funeral Home at 13220 West Capitol Drive in Brookfield, Wisconsin on Friday, December 13th. There will be a gathering from 5-7 pm and the service will be held at 7 pm. Her burial service will be on Saturday, December 14th at 10 am at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
