Obituary for Carol M. Simenc (Stampfl)
Carol Mae Simenc, 85, of Franklin, Wisconsin, passed away on June 9, 2022 with her family at her side.
Predeceased by her loving husband Anton (Tony) V. Simenc in 2020.
Carol was born December 21, 1936 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Stampfl. Carol enjoyed golf and was a member of Whitnall 9 Hole Club. She and Tony were “snowbirds” and spent many winter months in the Ocala, Florida area, playing golf and enjoying the warm weather. Carol had a knack for crafting and was particularly fond of sewing and textile crafts. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies. She worked as a clerk for the City of Milwaukee until her retirement and was a member of Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church since 1997. Carol will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, and a devoted and nurturing caregiver to Tony in his declining years. She is survived by her sisters Evelyn Prevenas and Rita Bond, son Joseph (Debra) Simenc, daughter Jennifer (Glen) Kinion, daughter Maria Hanrahan, and grandchildren Gunnar and Garrett Simenc and Ryan and Katie Hanrahan. Per Carol’s wishes there will be no service or memorial.
