Carolyn Bower Chapin

Born to Life March 12, 1935. Born to Christ on September 9, 2021, age 86 years.

She is survived by children Susan Stephen (Richard), Deborah Holtorf (Scott), Bart (Lisa), Scott (Danuta) and Dave (Rachel), grandchildren Cristian, Christopher, Kathy Sue, Andrew, Christina, Peter, Daniel, Natalia, Kayla and Ben.

A graduate of Johns Hopkins University Peabody Conservatory of Music 1955, Carolyn went on to teach piano and later with her love of the arts worked for UPAF in marketing and group sales for many years. She also shared her love of music with her church family, both playing and teaching.

Carolyn and her husband Bill (deceased July 8, 2021) were founders of the Southeastern Wisconsin American Anglican Church’s Wisconsin Chapter (SEWAAC) resulting in establishing St. Michael’s Church in Delafield, Wi.

Carolyn cherished her family and especially her grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and bird lover. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation Friday, September 17, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:30 PM. Private interment.
