Obituary for Daniel J. Consiglio

Daniel Joseph Consiglio passed away on October 31st, at his daughter’s home, at the age of 71.
Dan was born on April 20, 1949. He was raised in Milwaukee and later moved to Waukesha in 1977. Dan worked as an auto body manager at numerous car dealerships including: Zweifel Ford, Best Ford, Soerens Ford, and Griffin Ford. He finally moved to Acuity (Heritage) insurance as a claim adjuster. Dan retired in 2015.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Geraldine (nee Nikolaus); wife Karen (nee Best), brother Dennis, best friend Paul E Martin and numerous aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his son Adam (Nicki) of Brookfield, daughter Nicole (Dave) Grevenow of Menomonee Falls, and daughter Gina of Phoenix, AZ. Grandpa to Brianna, Shayna and Claudia Stein, Madeline and Matthew Consiglio, Riana and Jack Wolosek. He is further survived by numerous nephews, nieces and other family and friends.

Dan enjoyed NASCAR, Stock Car races, the Packers and Brewers, drinking beer (Its Miller time!) and fishing with Paul. Dan was always a causal dresser and hated formal wear.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield on Friday, November 6 from 5-7 PM. You are asked to wear any Wisconsin sport related clothes. Dan was always a causal dresser and hated formal wear.

Dan and his wife Karen’s final resting place will be at Resurrection Cemetery. A private burial for the family will be held at the cemetery.
