Obituary for Diane Gloria Krueger
Diane Krueger, age 76, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2022, at Community Memorial Hospital, due to complications from diabetes. She was the daughter of Bernard and Ruth (Barwick) Krueger. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and currently lived at Village at the Falls in Menomonee Falls.
Diane enjoyed her time living at Village at the Falls and made many friends. She was active in the Wii bowling group and often scored over 220. Playing cards, especially Cribbage, was another favorite pastime. Diane also enjoyed listening to the musicians that visited the Falls. One of things Diane enjoyed the most was grocery shopping and returning home with her trophies, she loved a bargain. Jewelry, unusual antiques and collectibles were of special interest to Diane. Traveling, Green Bay Packers and spending time with family and friends were among her favorite memories. She loved her Brewer games, attending many with her dad, uncle and brother.
She is survived by her brother Kevin (Kathy Waters), nieces Amber (Dan) Turner, Amie (Kyle) Hensel, great nieces Hannah, Rayna, Ariana, great nephew Reece and a very special cousin, Jackie Krueger. She was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Ruth Krueger.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from 10 am to noon followed by a brief service, at the Schramka Funeral Home 13220 W. Capitol Dr. Brookfield. A luncheon will be immediately following at Maxim’s Restaurant, 18025 W Capitol Dr. in Brookfield.
