Corrigan, Dorothy G.

Of Slinger passed away May 21, 2019 at the age of 89. Born January 14, 1930 in Milwaukee to William and Sophie Radonski. Loving wife of the late James Corrigan for almost 60 years. Loving mother of Patrick (Gail), Michael (Susan), Timothy (the late Lynn), Mary (Dennis) Kuehn, Daniel (Lori), and Judy (Daniel) Zachow. Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 5 grand dogs. Dear sister of William (the late Arlene) and Gilbert (Gail). Further survived by many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

While James was alive, he and Dorothy were seasonal campers for over 30 years at Lakeland campgrounds. She loved to read, do word searches, watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She adored dogs, especially their dog Maddie who she missed every day, and all her grand dogs. She carried dog treats in her pockets for all her pups, and had a special attachment to Rusty, her little bear and Gabby. Dorothy was a great baker and made amazing sugar cookies. She was a loving mom and we will miss her terribly.

Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, May 29 from 3-6 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society or Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (MACC) would be appreciated.

To the Corrigan Family, I sometimes wonder why we cousins drifted apart around high school age but I do have good memories when we all got together at Grandma and Grandpas home on 3rd street and the picnics for Great Grandma Ryterski. Also the fun we had at your home. The farm house (if you will) on Silver Spring Road and now remembering your Mom always smiling and happy. (Dog lovers are always wonderfull people) It is days like this that we can't be their with you, to offer my thanks so much for helping us say good bye to your Uncle John, Aunt Betty and Brian. I know your Mom is once again getting a BIG HUG from her favorite guy. Love you guys and sending our hugs from Arizona. John Corrigan Sr, Scott and Doug.

she was a wonderful Mother-in-law, I enjoyed watching the wheel of fortune and jeopardy with her even though she could get the answers faster than me almost all the time (yes that was a little frustrating sometimes but I will miss it) She always made sure there was some Jelly bellies or some treat on the bar for me and I know it was a small thing but it really meant a lot
Miss and love you Mom
