Died Dec. 26 at the age of 83 at Alexian Village Milwaukee. Born in Green Bay on March 12, 1938, to Winston and Emma (Stroobants) Nys. Joined the Society of the Divine Savior (Salvatorians) in 1959 and was ordained June 3, 1967. Served as teacher and pastor in his years of ministry; an accomplished organist, choir director and singer; avid Packers and Brewers fan. Preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Dennis and Dane. Survived by sisters Sharon (Joseph) Bangert and Sandra Meyer of Green Bay, nephews, nieces, and his brother and sisters in the Salvatorian Family.
