Obituary for Frances Martha Grzechowiak
(nee Strelka) Born to Eternal Life May 31, 2022, age 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Dear mother of Carolyn, the late Gary, Beverly (the late Ron) Stephens, Daniel, and Irish daughter-in-law Carol. Loving grandma of Jessica (Brian) Fischer, Michelle (Dax) Rodriguez and Nicole Maloney, Keith (Jen) Stephens and Katie (Josh) Yost. Cherished Busia of Jack, Bensen, Stella, Xander, Macie, Maddie, Ryan, Paxton, Emilia, Liam, and Adelaide. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Frances was a true matriarch of the family. She was a retiree of Wisconsin Bell and a member of the Gordon Park 4th of July Commission for over 55 years. Frances was a lifelong member of St. Casimir Parish and her devotion to the Mother of Perpetual Help sustained her throughout her life.
Her later years were spent at the Milwaukee Catholic Home in the Special Care Unit. Her family is eternally grateful to the wonderful staff there who cared for her so lovingly.
Visitation Wednesday, June 8, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Divine Providence Parish - St. Casimir Church, 2600 N. Bremen St., with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Frances requested memorials to the Versiti Blood Research Institute, for vWD research, a family hereditary disorder.
