Frank D. Rekowski

Born to Eternal Life on August 22, 2023, at the age of 87 years.

Frank worked for American Motors (Chrysler Corporation) from 1956 and retired in 1990 after 34 years. Frank married Barbara A. Dean on May 4th, 1957. Shortly after their wedding he was stationed for 2 years in Germany as ‘Army Security Police’ and returned to the States in 1960 with their first daughter Debbie. Frank enjoyed owning and maintaining rental properties. Frank and Barb loved to travel around the US visiting presidential libraries, national parks and taking his grandchildren to Disney World and the Milwaukee County Zoo. In their travels they visited 48 out of 50 states.

Beloved husband of Barb for 64 years who passed in 2022.

Father of Deborah (William) Quandt, Jeffrey Caine and Diane (Frank) Wycklendt.

Grandfather of Eric (Kari) Quandt, Jason (Kimberly) Quandt, Sr. Marie Therese Wycklendt, Rebecca (Tim) Suchon, James Wycklendt, Karen (Mike) Klamecki, Michael Wycklendt, Joseph (Chloe) Krueger, Samuel, Terez and Jacob Wycklendt.

Great grandfather of Hunter, Olivia, London, Eli, Henry, Hazel, Hudson, Harlow, Harlan, Howie, Haven, and Amara.

Further survived by sisters: Sr. Therese Rekowski, Agnes (Greg) Jackson and sister in-law Gloria Rekowski, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Preceded in death by brothers: Tony, Joseph and Edward Rekowski, and sisters: Mary Chabot, Rita Brandon.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 9th from 10-11 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8500 W. Coldspring Rd., Greenfield. Funeral Mass to follow at 11 AM. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials donations appreciated to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission.
