Albrent, Grace Marie
(Nee Bembenek) Found peace on December 6, 2019 at the age of 86. Preceded in death by her loving husband Edwin, her daughter Debra Ann and her son Michael John. Survived by her children James Edwin (Betty) Albrent, Mary Kay (William) Glowing and Judy Cass who Grace adopted in her heart many years ago. Further survived by her grandchildren Michael, Gary and Amanda Albrent, Jason (Jamie), Katie Grace and Zachary Glowing, her great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Samuel, Henry and Amelia., her sister Esther (the late Edmund) Ostrowski, her brother Daniel (Ann) Bembenek, and sisters-in-law Marie Bembenek and Joyce Bembenek.
Preceded in death by her parents Adam and Martha (Nee Wanta), her siblings Delphine (the late Joseph) Zakoski, Pauline (the late Henry) Wanserski, Raymond Bembenek, Evelyn (the late Joseph) Laurich, Elmer (the late Esther) Bembenek, Frank (the late Agnes) Bembenek, Ervin (the late Therese) Bembenek, Joseph (Marie) Bembenek and Walter (Joyce) Bembenek.

Grace was a hard worker and gave 110% to everything she did, living by the motto " leave things in better shape than you found them”. She freely shared her talents with all, among them her love for entertaining and cooking. Her houses were decorated for all seasons and holidays including changing of pictures and curtains. She was famous for her homemade soups and Christmas stolen. Grace was also generous with her time, volunteering at church and several nursing homes. She loved to play cards and instilled that passion in her grandchildren, playing many hands of 500 Rummy with them. She loved to dance and glided across the dance floor with the love of he life, her husband Ed. She enjoyed a good brandy old fashioned, and in her later years, your drink was never safe when she was around. She loved to travel, having gone to Poland, Hawaii, Alaska and Rome where she and the church choir had a private audience with the pope. To meet Grace was to love her. She will be missed by one and all.

Visitation Monday, December 16 at St. Pius X, 2506 Wauwatosa Ave, Wauwatosa from 9:30 until time of Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Memorials in her name can be made to your local American Legion.

Jim, Betty, Mary Kay - Our deepest sympathies. I loved growing up with your family on 49th street. Your mom was quite a cook and housekeeper and lived her life for her family and God. She was very tolerant of us kids and I would guess she said some prayers for us!
