Janet M. Schlicht (nee Stordeur)
Of Milwaukee, WI. Passed away peacefully at home and entered into Eternal Life on Friday, February 3, 2023 at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents Julius & Ione Stordeur, sister Joanne Tackitt, granddaughter Gretchen and great grandson Theo. She will be remembered dearly by her children Michael (Gail), Debra (Sue Durlak), Mark (Joni), Thomas, Donald, Michelle (Scott) Hoerig, William (Jodi), Christine (Jess) Haines, Mary (David) Komondoros, James (Sarah), Suzanne, and 20 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. Sister of Sharon (Steve) Marquardt. Also loved by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Janet’s life was dedicated to her family and her faith. She was especially devoted to the Christian Women Assn. and St. Vincent Paul Society. Bowling was also a big part of her life. She was a Director of the Milwaukee Women’s Bowling Assn. for 32 years, a member of the Milwaukee Area USBC Hall of Fame and Vice President of the Quarter Century Club.
Visitation will be Friday, February 17th from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Mother of Good Counsel Congregation, 6924 W. Lisbon Ave., Milwaukee, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am.
