Obituary for Janice Ann LaDue (Ghilardi)
Janice A. LaDue, 67, of Rhinelander, Wisconsin
When asked to be with God, Jan accepted on the morning of August 21, 2022. Born in 1955, she reunited with her father (Joseph Ghilardi, 2006) and will await her mother (Shirley Ghilardi) in the kingdom of Heaven. She will also await and be survived by her beloved husband (Thomas LaDue) of just shy of 31 years, by her two sons by marriage Joe LaDue (Katie) and JJ LaDue (Lisa) and her grandchildren Levi, Caden, Josephine, Lucas, Lincoln, and Stevielynn, as well as by her brother Steve Ghilardi (Janelle)/Liz and their children Tori and Aaron and the countless other friends and family.
Jan lost her extremely short battle with cancer at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital, the same hospital where both she and her father served humanity as a RN and a Nurse Anesthetist, respectively. She was also particularly proud of teaching our community’s future nurses at her 20+ year career of instruction at Waukesha County Technical College.
Jan’s Celebration of Life will be held at Good Shepard Catholic Church at N88W17658 Christman Road, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin 53051 on. Private burial.
In lieu of flowers, it is Jan’s wish that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or to Wild Instincts, a wildlife rescue service based in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
