John Jaroch

Born to Eternal Life, on May 27th, 2021, at the age of 90 years, John R. Jaroch passed peacefully in his sleep. He was the beloved husband of Catherine Jaroch (deceased) for 44 years. Loving father of Edward Jaroch, and foster children Victor (Lori) Baez, Linda (Greg) Steinke, and Carlos Baez (deceased).
Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Ursula Jaroch and brother, Thomas Jaroch. Further survived by grandchildren, Jason (Kate) Baez, Krystal (Neil) Pesch, Eric (Danielle) Baez, Ryan Baez, and James Steinke, along with great grandchildren Cecelia, Scarlett, Avery, Aria, Josephine, Chloe, and Eloise, as well as relatives and friends.

Born in Milwaukee, WI, John attended Marquette University High School (48’). He received his bachelor’s degree from Marquette University (52’) and was a strong supporter of Marquette throughout his life. John served his country as a Corporal in the US Army in the Korean War. It was through his military service that he came to enjoy world travel with a special fondness for Paris, France, where he was stationed. John went on to have a successful career in manufacturing sales and started Jaroch Industrial Sales. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed the greens in the U.S., United Kingdom, Scotland, and Ireland. He was the 1972 Brown Deer Golf Club Men’s Champion. He was also a jazz aficionado; however, his greatest love in life were his many lifetime friends and his family, which included his son Edward, three foster children: Carlos, Victor, and Linda, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Visitation: Friday June 4th at the Mother of Good Council Parish: 6924 W. Lisbon Ave., Milwaukee, WI from 9:30-11 AM followed by Mass at 11:00 AM and Christian Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials to Boys Town, PO Box 8000, Boys Town, NE, 68010.
