Obituary for John W. "Jack" Koehn
Menomonee Falls - Born to Life May 28, 1928 to Edward and Christine Koehn. Born to Eternal Life December 29, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Nancy (nee Esau). Dear father of Mark (Louise), Bruce (Gretchen), Marinell (Hal) Puchalski, Gregg, Julianne (Mark) Franzowiak, and Jacquelyn (Chris) Zetting. Fond brother of Glenn (Nancy) Koehn. Brother-in-law of Dotty Rector and June Esau. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, sister and spouse Anna (Forester) Sockett, brothers and spouses Ed (Maxine), Dick (Dorothy), Bob (Janet), and Wally Koehn.
Jack proudly served in Korea while in the US Army. He worked for Wisconsin Gas Co. for 46 years. Longtime member of St. Anthony Parish in Menomonee Falls.
Visitation Friday, January 21, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, N74 W13604 Appleton Ave., Menomonee Falls, with a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow with military honors at St. Anthony Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank Vitas Hospice, especially his loving nurse Beryl, for the special care they provided to Jack and his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Anthony Parish would be appreciated.
