Tony came to America after the war, and lived with his uncle, working as a tool and die maker. Tony and Frida grew up as neighbors in Germany. They fell in love and were engaged before leaving Germany and heading for the U.S. After working for a couple of years, he sent for his fiancé and his childhood sweetheart Frida. They were married on June 27, 1953 at St. Mary’s church in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Tony and Frida worked side-by-side all their lives. They were ambitious, and invested in apartment buildings. Later they owned, operated, and managed, hotels, restaurants, and bars. Tony never stopped missing his true love, Frida after she was called to eternal life in 1999. Their love is a shining example to all, and they will live on in our hearts and in our memories forever.
