Ken went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 26, 2020 after complications with Covid-19, he was 78 years old. Ken was born in Germany and came to the U.S. when he was a young boy. He grew up in South Milwaukee where he graduated and married his high school sweetheart Adrienne (Thompson). They were married for 58 years and had two daughters Julie (Tim) Cline of North Carolina and Tina (John) Cychosz of Racine. He adored his six grandchildren Hayden (Kalline), Heidi, Hallie and Hollan Cline and Alivia and Carlie Cychosz. Loving brother to Mike (Kathi) Tomic and Marge (Dick) Miller and nephew Nicolas Miller. After graduation Ken joined the Army and was sent to Korea. After returning to the U.S. he served on the Military Police motorcycle division at Fort Lee, Virginia. He worked for 25+ years at Ladish Co. in Cudahy, then 10+ years at Cooper Power Systems in South Milwaukee. Ken loved the outdoors and travelling. He and Adrienne often traveled to North Carolina to visit their grandchildren. They also went on many motorcycle trips around the country with friends. Over the years Ken made several trips to Germany to visit family, he loved Germany. He shared his love of deer hunting with his brother Mike and had many adventures and stories to tell. Ken enjoyed camping with his extended family for many, many years and he instilled that love of nature to his children and grandchildren. He was a very hands on grandpa from making toys and doll houses with his woodworking skills to singing, reading and playing with the kids. He is loved beyond measure and will be greatly missed. A military honor service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove at a later date.
