Obituary for Ralph Peter Gingras

Ralph Peter Gingras, 66, of Racine, WI passed away peacefully in his daughter Samantha’s home in West Bend, WI on May 28, 2022 with Samantha, son-in-law Chad, grandchildren Gauge, Rosilyn, and Bailey, and his sister Sandy by his side.
Ralph was born in Springfield, MA on August 10, 1955 to Eugene and Lorraine Gingras. He graduated from Classical High School in 1973 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam in 1975. He was stationed in Japan, North Carolina, and Dallas, and was honorably discharged in 1988. Ralph was a member of the American Legion Post 375 Mukwonago. He loved the outdoors, live music, family time, his mom’s lasagna and meatballs, and karaoke with his daughters.
Ralph is survived by his parents Eugene and Lorraine, brother Gary (Sue) Gingras, sisters Sandra Parker and Julie (Bruce) Hill, all from Springfield, MA, and sister Lisa (Kurt) Wiesen from Lyons, CO. He is also survived by his former wife Nancy Marefke, his children Timothy Gingras, Samantha (Chad) Martin, and Stephanie Gingras, his grandchildren Bailey, Gauge, and Rosilyn, his adopted children Robin, Chris, and Michael, and his adopted grandchildren Fernando, Anthony, Jessica, Jose, Diego, Jullian, and Jocelyn, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to thank the outstanding nurses Noemi and Nathan at Compassionate Care Hospice and the VA medical team for their amazing compassion and devotion to Ralph during his illness. We are truly grateful for all you have done for our family.
Visitation at the funeral home Thursday, June 2 from 2 to 4pm with a service at 4pm.
Burial will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral costs.
