Of West Allis passed at her home on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the age of 65. She was born on August 2, 1954, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Edward and Margaret (nee Jasinski) Mueller.

Teri is lovingly remembered by her children, Joseph Edward (Shannon Gleason) Van Ert and Tracie (Alan) Evans; grandson, Donovan Joseph Van Ert; former husband, Michael (Pamela) Van Ert and brother, Patrick (Sandy) Mueller. She is further survived by other family members and friends. Teri was preceded in death by her loving parents; sister, Judith Marie Mueller and her beloved cat Sammy.

Teri worked for the Boston Store at the Mayfair Mall for 38 years. She was an avid WI sports fan; cheering on the Packers, Brewers, UW Wisconsin, and The Bucks. Teri was a History buff and Civil War Documentary enthusiast; or any Movie with Robert Downey Jr. in it. Most of all she loved spending time with family and her loving cat.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 W. Capital Dr., Brookfield, WI 53005. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Teri’s name to the American Diabetes or the American Heart Association would be appreciated.

I was blessed to meet Teri several years ago through our mutual friend, Diana Pine. Over the years, it was obvious Teri had the most generous of hearts. Like Diana mentioned in her tribute, I recall Teri taking advantage of Boston Store sales to purchased needed crock pots, etc. for the Cathedral Center's shelter and transitional programs. Her kindness leaves a huge imprint. We can honor her by following her example of being generous. Her warm smile and love remain with all who knew her. With deep sympathy to her family, Gay Lehman and daughter, Amy

Teri was so loved by so many. Was remembering today all the small appliances (crock pots, toasters, can openers, coffee makers) that she donated to the women at The Cathedral Center to be used when they moved into their permanent housing. She would watch for sales at Boston Store, using her employee discount and coupons of course. Then big white Boston Store bags would "magically" appear on our porch. She had the biggest heart, the widest smile, the most open and loving personality. She was a friend to all. We will miss her forever. Diana and Rich Pine and Katy Ferguson

It has now been a week since you have gone. It still seems so surreal. I love and miss you so much. I know that you would want me to move on but it is really heard. I wish I could have told you one last time how much you mean to me and so many family and friends. I love you with all of my heart Mom you will never be forgotten. Rest easy.
