Tom passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his loving wife Jayne of 51 years, his beloved children Paul (Sarah) Enslin and Jill (Ken) Nelson, his adored grandchildren Brianna (Hunter) Morris, Emilie (Sam) Kutz, Hunter, Addy, Brandin and Noah and his dear sister Kathy (Chet) Dobbertin. Tom is further survived by two aunts, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved pets Piggy and Raz. Tom is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Dorothy (nee Quesnell) Enslin, his brother Bill Enslin, his grandson Ryan Nelson and his dear friends Rod Wolfe and Denny Julian.
Tom went to high school in Muskego. He attended UW-Eau Claire where he majored in Chemistry and Math and also attended the Medical College of WI and studied Clinical Chemistry. Tom taught at Waianae High School in Hawaii, Hartford High School, Wales School for Boys, Kradwell High School and Marshall High School. He was a salesman for Kraft Chemical Company in Chicago. He also worked for Parts Distributing Inc. and Jackson Bartending Service.
Tom loved to direct plays and act, he performed at the Pabst Theater, Milwaukee Performing Arts Center, the American Inside Theatre, the Wyndham Hotel and Brookfield Players. Tom was a reader and Elder at Emmas Lutheran Church. Tom was also very proud of obtaining his black belt in karate. He was an avid Packer and Badger fan. His other hobbies included fishing and hunting, he was a Star Wars fan and he had a great sense of humor.
Tom's family would like to extend special thanks to the entire staff at the Lutheran Home for the past two years of all their love and extraordinary care.
