Obituary for Walter "Wally" Josten
Of Mequon. Born May 26, 1930 and entered to Eternal Life March 31, 2023. Loving father of Walter Scott (Pat), Kathleen Josten, the late Patrick, Michael (Cindy), Daniel, and Karen (Dan) Berger. Proud grandpa of Patrick (Lizbeth), Matthew, Timothy, Danny (Annie), and Cody (Anna). Cherished great-grandpa of Mia and Claire Berger and Thomas Patrick Josten. Dear brother-in-law of Sandy (Jerry) Skorch and Maureen Josten.
Preceded in death by the love of his life for 68 years Mildred “Mitzie” Josten (nee Schiessl), his parents Walter and Gertrude Josten, his sister Marilyn (the late Jake) Hess, his brother William Josten, and his sisters-in-law and their spouses Jean (Don), Pat (Fritz), Rosemary (Wayne) and Margaret (Ron). Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Wally loved spending time with his family, his pristine yardwork, watching his grandkids sporting events and visiting with his friends with a cold beer.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, April 15 at 11:30AM at St. Bernadette Parish, 8200 W Denver Ave, Milwaukee. Visitation from 10:30AM until the time of Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Bernadette Parish are appreciated.
