Alice Loberg

Alice M. Loberg (nee Dettling) found peace and moved to Heaven to meet her Lord and Savior on March 21, 2022, at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Roy of 61 years. Loving mom of Jerome (Sue), LeRoy (Christine), Roger (Jeannie), Mary (Tom – "Favorite Son-In-Law") Elsner, Peter (Michelle) and John (Lisa). Proud grandma, great-grandma and great, great-grandma to many. Cherished sister of Delores. Preceded in death by her son, Paul, parents Peter and Eva Dettling and brothers Dan and Ken Dettling. Alice was a devoted homemaker and seamstress. She found comfort in helping others. Seeing and hearing stories about her many "grands" always put a huge smile on her face. Her cherished friendship of over 50 years with Diane remained until she went to Heaven. Special thanks to all the "Angels" at Brookdale Brookfield and Brighton Hospice, who lovingly referred to her as Miss Alice and mama. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 2 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (12130 W. Center St., Wauwatosa). Visitation at Church beginning at 10:30 AM and Mass at 11:30 AM. Entombment immediately following the Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery (7301 W. Nash St., Milwaukee).
