August 8, 1939 — April 13, 2025

Allen Vernon Rush Former resident of Mukwonago, Wisconsin Passed away on April 13, 2025 Allen , beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, joining his cherished wife Donna. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Allen proudly served his country in both the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard. He went on to work as a skilled mechanic, assembler, and machinist. After marrying Donna, the couple made Mukwonago their home, where they lived until moving to assisted living in 2017. Allen will be fondly remembered for his sharp sense of humor, his love for fishing, and his unwavering passion for sports—especially the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. He generously gave his time as a volunteer for the Mukwonago Food Pantry, a cause close to his heart. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Donna Rush, his grandson Joel Rush, his brother Jim, and his sister Elaine. He is survived by his sister Karen (Bob) Markofski; his children William Rush (Jackie Dunifer), Jason Rush (Karen), and Barbara Howard (Fred Kirchhoff); his grandchildren Lonny, Jeremy, Wayne, Tim, Geoff, Kindra, Kaylin, Jessie, Ryan, and Harrison; and his great-grandchildren Taylor, Chase, Hayden, Ellie, Jacob, Matthew, Jameson, and Ava. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of his memory care facility, especially Rosie, Samantha, and Felicia, for the compassionate care and kindness they showed both Allen and Donna.
