Andrew "Andy" Olaf Langen, 61, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, August 5th, 2022.
Andrew is survived by his significant other Christie Lezon; his son, Rickey Murphy & his wife Michelle; his daughter Samm Langen & her partner Zach; grandchildren Brayden, Reece, Hendrix, Somer, and Samantha; former wife Mary Murphy; His Sister Nancy Sitzberger (Steve) & Brother Michael Simmons (Josie); his nieces Erica & Jennifer; Nephews Christian, Colin & Sean; his lifelong friends Jim Phelps (Digger), Dave Markwiese, Pat Bremer (Boomer), Dave Schmidt (Schmitty) & Patrick Danen; Further survived by many more friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; mother Joan Tessmer; his father Rolf Langen; and his son Tyler Langen.
He was born on March 17th, 1961 in Sacramento, CA and grew up in Milwaukee, WI. Andy had many friends that he loved and cherished, many that he kept through the years since childhood. Andy loved sports, going to baseball games and bowling, as evidenced by an impressive bowling shirt collection. He was a member of the Moose lodge in Muskego, WI. He liked to bet on horses and any sporting event. He enjoyed traveling to Florida with his soon-to-be fiancé Christie. He was a loving and very proud grandpa, affectionately known to his grandchildren as "umpa" and "opa". He encouraged his kids to "reach for the stars" and signed every card that way.
Visitation Friday, August 12, from 4-7 PM at the Schramka-Borgwardt Funeral Home, 11030 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners, followed by a Celebration of Life at 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Andy's name can be made to the Special Olympics Organization.
