Antoinette Tombari

Antoinette "Toni" "Katy" Katherine Tombari, nee Kafer, said a courageous goodbye to this life on July 23, 2017. She was a lifetime resident of Wisconsin including Milwaukee, Bristol and Sturtevant. Cherished mother of Lorraine "Lori" K. Trawitzki, Elizabeth "Liz" A. (Andy) Haubert and the late Roger C. Kafer. Beloved grandmother of Jill (Jon) Rakowski, George Trawitzki, Lisa (Al) Klumpp, Eric Trawitzki and Bill Graushar. Great-grandmother of 13 and great-great grandmother of 12. Survived by many family and friends. Preceded in death by parents Emil and Mary Kafer, 5 brothers; John (Anna), Emil (Lucille), George, James and Roman Kafer and 3 sisters; Mary (Forest) Galford, Bertha Kafer and Ruth (Chester) Kwiatkowski. Her passion was flowers. She enjoyed the challenge of crossword puzzles, and the thrill of a bingo win. She will always be remembered for her immeasurable strength and courage. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all her caregivers who cared for her through the years. A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 4-7 PM with a brief Celebration of Life Service at 6 PM at Schramka-Borgwardt Funeral Home, 11030 W. Forest Home, Hales Corners. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, Boys Town, the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Association.
