Arlene Canitz

(nee Geiger) Formerly of New Berlin and West Bend. Born to Eternal Life August 18, 2020, age 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Henry Canitz. Loving mother of James (Brenda), Carol (Sidney) Gross, Diane (Philip) Bagguley, David (Bonnie), Henry (Cassie), Christopher (Corina), and Lori (Eugene) Fierst. Proud grandmother to 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Cindy Geiger. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Viola Geiger, brother Jerry Geiger, and brother-in-law Ralph (the late Marie) Canitz. Arlene was born in Milwaukee and graduated from Washington High School and the Milwaukee County General Hospital School of Nursing. She was a nurse for many years and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in West Allis. Arlene loved gardening, baking, traveling, music and all animals. Her main passion was family. Visitation Saturday, September 5, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park – Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:30 PM.
