Barbara Nealon

December 18, 1930 — July 5, 2015

Born to eternal life July 5 at the age of 84. Loving mother of Mary (Tim) Neubauer, Tim (Deborah) Nealon, Kathy (Bruce) Shaffer, and Margaret "Peggy" Nealon. Beloved grandmother of Matthew and Katie Neubauer, Andrea and Trisha Nealon, Angela (Kelly) McDonald, Ryan (Jamie) Shaffer, and Steve, Brian, and Alex Penn. Great-grandmother of Kathryn, Jackson, and Caleb. Beloved sister-in-law of Nancy Nealon. Preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Mary Sherburne, sister Ruth Ann Gahn, and grandson Michael Neubauer. Further survived by special friend Leslie Waltke, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Barbara was a registered nurse for many years and finished her career as the assistant director of nursing at Milwaukee County Mental Health at Rehab West. She graduated from Marquette University College of Nursing in 1952. She volunteered for several organizations including Interfaith, food pantries, and was a Eucharistic minister. She was a member of St. Pius X for over 50 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to Marklund Children's Home (1 S. 450 Wyatt Drive, Geneva, IL 60134) appreciated. Funeral service will be held at St. Pius X in Wauwatosa Wednesday, July 8 at 11 am. Visitation from 9:30 am until the time of service. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow.
