Barbara Retzer

Barbara Retzer Age 86 passed away peacefully in her sleep at Vista Pointe Assisted Living in Menomonee Falls, WI on August 26, 2020. She is survived by her husband Richard "Dick" Retzer, sons Drew and Ross, sisters-in-law Dorothy Wedemeyer and Charlene Bartlett, and numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her siblings Jeanie Reinke, Mardelle "Mickey" Brunow, Ida "Connie" Bender-Helm, Richard "Dicky", niece Kelly (Kahn), and her dear old Siamese "KK". Barbara was born August 9, 1934 to Russel and Alice Kahn. She was dedicated to the children of MPS as a teacher's aide for many decades and was an active member of Sherman Park Lutheran Church. She was born to serve others and will be dearly missed. Special thanks to the staff at Vista Pointe for their kind care. A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, September 2 from 12:30-2:30 PM at Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 W. Capitol Dr, Brookfield. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park.
