Barbara Skoropat

Barbara Skoropat, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on November 2, 1938, Barbara's life was a testament to the power of kindness and devotion. A loving mother and grandmother, Barbara is survived by her only son, Mike Skoropat, and his wife, Michelle, along with her cherished grandchildren, Angeline and Braden. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she nurtured them with the same warmth and compassion that she extended to everyone she met. Barbara's passions were as rich and varied as the tapestry of her life. An avid cross-stitcher, she created beautiful works of art that were as intricate and detailed as the life she so thoughtfully crafted. Dancing brought her immense joy, and she moved through life with the same grace that she brought to the dance floor. A devoted Catholic, Barbara's faith was unwavering. She lived her beliefs through her actions, embodying the spirit of charity and goodwill in every encounter. Described by those who knew her as loving, kind, and faith-filled, Barbara's legacy is one of enduring love and the quiet strength of her convictions.  Barbara Skoropat's life was a beautiful pattern of love and faith, a pattern that will continue to inspire and guide those who were blessed to know her. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of her family and friends.  There will be a visitation from 11am - 12pm, at Schramka Funeral Home on 13220 W Capitol Drive, Brookfield, on Friday December 13, 2024, followed by a service at 12pm.  Barbara will then be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery.
