It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Bernette R. Kolbeck, who departed this life peacefully on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, at the remarkable age of 101.5 years. Born on Wednesday, September 24th, 1924, Bernette lived a life marked by devotion, kindness, and unwavering faith and her Rosary.
Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Benedict John Kolbeck and Rose Agnes Kolbeck, Bernette was the last surviving member of her generation. She embraced a life steeped in the teachings of the Catholic faith, finding solace and companionship in the Rosary, which she regarded as her best friend. Her deep connection with nature was evident in her love for flowers, animals, and all creations of God, which brought her immense joy and peace.
Bernette's gentle spirit and boundless affection extended beyond her faith and nature, reaching into the lives of her many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews, all of whom she cherished deeply. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and faith that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Schramka Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bernette's life, honoring her memory and the profound impact she had on all of us.
In Bernette's heart, her faith, love for nature, prayer, and the community of her family were her greatest treasures. As we remember her life, let us carry forward her profound grace, kindness, and faith in God, much like the continuous bloom of the flowers she so adored.
