Br. Peter Farnesi Sds

Died May 2, 2025, at age 98 in Alexian Village. He was born Raleigh Farnesi on September 12, 1926, in Madera, CA, to Alfredo and Catherine Farnesi. Served in the Army and then joined the Society of the Divine Savior (Salvatorians) on March 19, 1958, receiving the name Brother Peter. Served as a missionary in Tanzania for 24 years; as property manager for a retreat center in Helenwood, TN; and maintenance worker at Frost School in Silver Spring, MD, until retiring in 1994. Preceded in death by his parents; one brother, William (the late Bruna) Farnesi; two sisters, Mabel (the late Mitchell) Errecart and Betty (the late Eugene) Colan. Survived by his sister, Lillian (Gerald) Wagner of Issaquah, WA, nephews and nieces, and his brothers and sisters in the Salvatorian Family. Visitation Thursday, May 22, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Chapel at Alexian Village, 9301 N. 76th St., Milwaukee, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM.  Interment will be Friday, May 23, 10:30 AM at Salvatorian Cemetery in St. Nazianz, WI.
