Br. Kilian Harrington Sds

Age 95. Died in Milwaukee on January 22, 2024. Born in Antigo on March 16, 1928. Joined the Society of the Divine Savior (Salvatorians) in 1951. Cared for the community's farms, gardens, and orchards for many years in Maryland and Wisconsin. Taught organic farming to cognitively disabled adults in Sauk Centre, MN, from 1985 to 2019, with a two-year break (1988-1990) to manage a shelter for the homeless and poor in Oshkosh. Retired to Alexian Village in 2019. Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Lucy; two sisters: Sr. Mary Patrick Harrington SCSC, and Devota (the late Duane) Kramer. Survived by one sister Phyllis (the late James) Suick of Antigo and The Villages, Florida; nieces and nephews; as well as his brothers and sisters in the Salvatorian Family.  Visitation Thursday, February 8th, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Chapel at Alexian Village, 9301 N. 76th St., Milwaukee, with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be Thursday at Salvatorian Cemetery in St. Nazianz at 3:00 PM.
