Br. Joseph Kreutzer Sds

Age 93 years. April 27, 2021 at Alexian Village Milwaukee. Born Francis Coyne Kreutzer in 1927 in Huntley, IL, to Otto and Lenore (Coyne) Kreutzer. After finishing high school in 1945, he joined the Navy. In 1953 he became a Brother in the Society of the Divine Savior (Salvatorians) and ministered in seminaries in Wisconsin and New Jersey. In 1960 he was sent as a missionary to Tanzania where he lived for 24 years. After his return to the USA he took care of the elderly members of the community, assisted at two Salvatorian parishes in Huntsville, AL, and then retired to Alexian Village in 2013. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Joseph and James, and sisters Evelyn Riedl and Lenora Weston. He is survived by his brothers and sisters in the Salvatorian Family. Visitation Monday, May 3, from 10-11 AM at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 8661 N. 76th Place, with a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Burial Monday, 3 PM at Salvatorian Cemetery in St. Nazianz, WI.
