A Memorial Service is at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 7th, 2015 at the Schramka Funeral home in Menomonee Falls. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service and at a reception afterward to share stories (pirate or other) and pizza.
Bruce was passionate about helping others as a Respiratory Therapist, having worked at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin for nearly 30 years, and more recently, at Columbia/St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee. He was equally passionate about family, spending time with his children, grandchildren, siblings and others. He was known by many throughout Menomonee Falls as an avid walker, bicyclist, Little League and football coach, and his memorable days at "Falls North". He enjoyed playing guitar, reading, writing and shopping excursions at thrift shops. "Arrgghhh matey" was a favorite saying as Bruce had a fondness for pirates. He also loved to fish, even though he never caught any – it was all about the bonding.
