Carol Rosencrantz

Carol Jean (nee Hansen) Rosencrantz, age 86, passed away peacefully with her son and daughter by side on June 25, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Warren and Agnes Hansen. Carol is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Darwin Rosencrantz. She was the loving mother of Jill (William) of Prospect, Kentucky and Jay (Maura) of Brookfield. Proud Grandma of Courtney, Alyssa (Sam), Cassidy (Fiancé Ray) Hannah, Caitlin, Molly and Erin. She felt fortunate to have two great-grandchildren, Ava Rose and Miller James. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her 7 granddaughters, reading, sewing and making draperies. Some of her happiest times were spent with family and friends at Nature's Villa in the summer and at Corkscrew in Estero, Florida in the winter. A private celebration of life will be held.
