Carol Schlee

February 22, 1938 — November 4, 2024

Lynne passed unexpectedly and peacefully at home on November 4, 2024. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald, her parents, Henry and Clara, brother Garrett and her cousin Clarann Burrus. Beautiful mother to Henry (Julie) and Ellen (John) Takerian; devoted grandmother of Zachary, Alexander and Enzo; wonderful aunt of Henry Garrett (Cheryl), Jennifer, Johnathan (Jennifer); treasured sister-in-law and best friend Connie Holling. Further survived by other family and friends. She was a proud Badger Alumna. Lynne was very welcoming to all family and friends as well as stray animals. Perfect hair and heels were very important, especially during meetings of the Library League, Mequon Dance Club and the Mequon Junior Women's Club. Lynne had a huge heart and an authentic spirit. She loved waterskiing on trips to Manitowish Waters and Key Colony Florida. Lynne has been described by many as a kind, compassionate, funny, spunky, loving and dignified person. She began some beautiful Christmas Morning traditions for her family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 11th from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Thein Room at Shully's Cuisine and Events, 146 Green Bay Rd. in Thiensville. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Lynne's caregivers: Trish, Susan and Madeline as well as Dr.Goniu.
