Carol Thomas

The family of Carol Mae Thomas (nee Dalle Ave), of Milwaukee, WI, is saddened to announce that she lost her fight with ALS on May 22, 2023, at the age of 77. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Ronald R. Thomas and daughters Wendy (Douglas) Brem and Laura Thomas, her grandchildren Jessica, Devin, Brett, Michelle and Julia, and her great-grandchildren Michale, Angelo, Fennrik and Henry, as well as close family and friends. Carol will also be dearly missed by the lifelong friendships she formed with her boat racing family and working as an environmental educator at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marchello and Antoinette Dalle Ave and her brother Robert Dalle Ave. Carol was amazing. She loved her family, working in her gardens, birding, kayaking and was a very talented artist. The family also wishes to send a special Thank You to the staff of the Froedtert Specialty/ALS Clinic and Synergy Home Care for their care, compassion and attention."
