Catherine Mendoza

"Chatty Cathy" lived life to the fullest. She passed away surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Flood (Nebel). Survived by her devoted husband, Henry Mendoza, her brothers and sisters, children, and grandchildren.  Cathy was loved by many and always welcomed everyone to her home, always happy to share her garden, flowers, and recipes. She worked hard and played hard, traveling with Henry to see the sights of Wisconsin thru bowling tournaments and casinos. As a loving grandmother to all her grandchildren, she delighted in hosting them for holiday parties and catering their favorite foods. Hosting the family gatherings was always a reason to make a feast to feed an army. "What food do you want to take home?" was a known phrase. In lieu of flowers, Cathy would love for you to stop at the Wisconsin State Fair and enjoy a beer while listening to your favorite band. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Schramka Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls, with service to follow after.
