Charles Hrobsky

February 26, 1943 — October 10, 2025

Charles Frederick Hrobsky, age 82, passed away on October 10, 2025. Born on February 26, 1943, in Watertown, Wisconsin, Charles lived a full life rooted in family, service, and simple joys. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After his military service, he continued to lead a life marked by dedication—to his family, his passions, and his community. He attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering and Madison School of Electronics where he received an Associates Degree in Engineering. He went on to have a successful career as a Manufacturing Engineer for multiple companies. He was a lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers and loved nothing more than spending time on the Mississippi River, boating and enjoying the boating vacations with close friends. Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy (Klein) Hrobsky, his daughter, Robyn Lawrence, and her husband Jason, and Krissy Zanze, and her husband Josh. He was also a proud grandfather to Jamie and Matthew Lawrence and Jordan Zanze. He is survived by his three siblings James Hrobsky, Judy Schwantes, and Mary Kautzer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle and George Hrobsky, whose love and guidance helped shape the man he became as well as his sibling John (Jake) Hrobsky. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at St. Eugene Catholic Church at 7600 N. Port Washington Road, Milwaukee WI 53217. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
