Mequon - Clarence W Byron peacefully departed this life on May 9, 2021 after a long life, filled with family, love and laughter.
Clarence was an unforgettable man with a wonderful sense of humor. He preferred to be called "Byron".
Byron was born on March 10, 1939 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin to Dennis Grady and Lillian Byron.
Byron graduated from Lake Geneva High School and continued on to serve in the U.S. Navy in the motor pool as a helicopter mechanic.
He was married to his beloved wife Agnes Byron on April 2, 1963 in New York City, New York.
He worked as a lithographic printer for 41 years. After retirement he loved to spend time with his family. This included "the dogs" as he referred to them Zoe and Rome. He loved to spend time at his childhood home in Lake Geneva and always had a "fix it" project in the works.
He loved the outdoors but always with a purpose. Tending to the yard, taking the dogs out or working on some new project. From fixing cars, lawn mowers to garbage disposals, he could do it.
As an avid reader, he always had a book on hand. A favorite pastime was exchanging new authors between him and his sister. He loved his family and pets dearly. All who met him knew that his most endearing trait was his sense of humor which he kept throughout his entire life.
He is survived by his spouse, Agnes, his children, Lisa T. Byron-Worzalla (Mark), Stephen Byron, Timothy Byron and Tracy Byron. His 7 grandchildren, Marina Miller, Stephanie Hasan, Jessica Byron, Skyln Worzalla, Treyvor Byron, Jaime Byron and Lilly Byron. His sisters Shirley Pabich and Lillian Fibiger and brother in law Ronald Fibiger and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Dennis Grady and Lillian Byron, mother in law Ora Lee Collins, brother in law Henry Pabich and his nephews Brian and Jeff Fibiger.
