Colette Seck

Born to Eternal Life on January 16, 2016 at the age of 95. Colette was born in Chicago, IL on March 15, 1920 to James and Florence Corcoran. After her mother passed away when Colette was five years old she was raised by her father and step-mother, Jeanette Corcoran. Colette graduated from Chicago's Mercy High School in 1937. Colette married John Anthony Seck in 1946 and moved to Milwaukee where they lived happily together for nearly 40 years until John's passing in 1986. Colette was an active member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. She will be missed by her family and friends. Special friend of Hedy and the late Hugo Binder. Colette was a special mom to Sue (Tom), John (Mary), Bob (Debbie), Julie (Paul) and Jeanne (Mark) Binder. Special "Grandma Corky" to Kristi, Katie, Karly, Angie, Danny, Jacob, Nicholas, Matthew, Mandy, Stephanie, Nicki, Wesley, Jana and Jeffrey. Also survived by special great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass Saturday, January 30, 1:30 pm at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 3970 N. 92nd St. Visitation Saturday at the Church from 12 noon until time of Mass. Private entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the St. Margaret Mary Education Fund.
