Corrine Lyon

(nee Cobus) Went home to the Lord December 14, 2017 at the age of 92 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Richard Lyon for over 70 years. Loving mother of Kathleen (Gary) Buttrum, Rick Lyon, Robert Lyon, Donald (Susan) Lyon, Mary (Ray Rydz) Lyon, William (Winya) Lyon, Jackie (Joe) Manning, and Laurie (Mark) Schears. Proud grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Ellen Cobus and sister Roseanne Koslosky. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Corrine was a self-sacrificing and devoted wife and mother. She was always working with her hands, whether she was quilting, painting, rug-braiding, sewing baton twirling costumes for her daughters, or doing anything with a needle or brush. She was a true artist. The family would like to thank the staff of Horizon Hospice, Aurora Grafton Medical Center, and Milan Estates for their wonderful care and support of both Corrine and her entire family. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 22 at 5 PM at St. Eugene Parish, 7600 N Port Washington Rd, Fox Point. Visitation from 3 PM until the time of service. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
