Dale Hoffman

Born to Eternal Life October 19, 2015, age 65 years. Beloved husband of Marie (nee Orlando). Loving father of Jeremy (Tina), Theresa (Jason) Poeppel, Joshua (Melissa), Zachary and Joseph Hoffman. Proud grandpa of Eli, Benjamin and Lucas. Loving brother of David (Cathy), Brian (Mary), Greg (Sharon), Mark (Kim) and Sharon Hoffman. Brother-in-law of Michael Orlando and Phillip Balg. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents Alice and Raymond, sisters Maureen and Mary, mother-in-law Mary Zibolski, father-in-law Joseph Orlando, and brother-in-law Joseph Orlando. Dale was an Air Force Veteran from 1969-73. He worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad for many years and then retired from Ascension Health. Dale also was a volunteer at Wheaton Franciscan-St. Joseph Campus. Special thanks to the staff at Wheaton Franciscan for their dedication and support. Visitation Saturday, October 24, 9:30-11:00 am at Blessed Savior Parish, 8545 W. Villard Ave., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
