Dale Lancelle

Dale J. Lancelle, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on May 29, 1933, Dale's life was a testament to his unwavering commitment to his family, his country, and his community. A loving husband to Clarice, Dale was the cornerstone of a large and vibrant family. He was a devoted father to his six children, Steve (Cindy), Mike, Katie, Julie, Greg, and Joe, and a doting grandfather to 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Dale's legacy of love and laughter will continue to thrive in the hearts of his descendants. Though he was preceded in death by his grandson Curtis Barnhardt, Dale's spirit of generosity and compassion lives on through his family. Dale's life was marked by honorable service to his country as a military veteran who served in Korea. His dedication to duty reflected his character: steadfast, courageous, and selfless. Following his military service, Dale continued to contribute to his community through his work. He retired from a fulfilling career with AT&T and Riteway Bus Company, where he was known for his strong work ethic and amiable nature. An active member of his community, Dale found joy in service and fellowship. He was a proud member of the Rotary Club, where he worked on numerous projects that benefited both local and international communities. His love for golf was more than a hobby; it was a way for him to connect with friends and enjoy the outdoors. As a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Dale was deeply involved in supporting local businesses and fostering economic growth. As we bid farewell to Dale J. Lancelle, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a legacy of love that will forever be imprinted on the lives he touched.
