Found peace February 28, 2016 age 50. Treasured son of Marcy Sanhuber and Ken (Dixie) Szohr. Beloved nephew of Marisue (the late Matt) Zillig and Kathy Kaye. Loving brother of Michael (Kim) Szohr, Frank (Beth) Korosec, Jeff (Jeanne) Korosec, and Jodi (Jon) Nilson. Beloved uncle of 11 nieces and nephews. Special friend of Charlotte Fairburn and Kevin Czerwonka. Preceded in death by sister Vicky Jo and grandparents Francis and Mickey Sanhuber and Phil and Meckie Szohr. Further survived by other relatives and many friends.
Graduated from Kettle Moraine High School and the University of Wisconsin- Madison. A sports enthusiast, Dan lived his dream as a sports announcer for minor league baseball and working for CBS Sports. Dan was successful in many sales careers and as a financial advisor. He was known for his sense of humor and storytelling. He was an avid music lover and was a huge fan of Bruce Springsteen. Dan was always well-read, well-travelled, and well-loved.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 4 from 3-7 PM at the funeral home. At 6 PM family and friends are welcome to share memories and stories of Dan. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice appreciated.
