Ralph and Darlene Rosenbecker were married in July of 1962 and were together until they entered Eternal Life on June 13, 2021 as a result of a car accident. Ralph was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was the son of Agnes and Joseph Rosenbecker. He graduated from Juneau High School in 1951 and Wisconsin State College of Milwaukee (University Wisconsin Milwaukee) in 1956. He moved to Mukwonago few years later and met the love of his life, Darlene Ott.
Darlene was born in Eagle River Wisconsin to Irvin and Violet Ott and graduated from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and became a teacher. She taught Math and English at Mukwonago High School before becoming the librarian until her retirement in 1988. Ralph retired in 1991 after a long career inspiring many young people to appreciate art and beauty in life.
Ralph and Darlene were staples in the Mukwonago community and were active in school activities. Ralph coached wrestling and kept score at the football games when they were played at Field Park in Mukwonago. After retirement, he grew to love and prosper in his hobbies of woodworking and fish carving. Darlene was a cast member in the Village Players and participated in plays during the 1970s and kept active with Bridge Club, knitting, doing crossword puzzles, reading and playing the piano.
They are survived by their children, Jay (Jaqueline) Rosenbecker and Lisa Cooper as well as their grandchildren Emily (Mark) Worden, Kevin (Maggie) Cooper, Andrea (Cameron) Spiekerman, Joseph Rosenbecker and Katie Cooper They are also survived by three great grandchildren James and Rowan Worden and Mary Margaret Cooper.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Agnes, and his siblings Carol (Charles) Sutton and Douglas (Arlene) Rosenbecker. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents Irvin and Violet, and sister Jane (Daniel) O'Brien.
As per their wishes there will be no funeral services, but donations can be made to the American Heart Association or any charity of your choice, in their names.
